Bryan Jack's (4th-generation Austin, Texas based songwriter) tune “Lightning Lane to Heaven” was recently selected by revered Nashville publisher Bobby Rymer as a winner of the “Publishers Pick” at the Austin Songwriters Group Symposium in 2024. He has also held regular appearances at the Cactus Cafe since 2023 as well as many listening rooms across Central Texas.
Bryan had 3 songs make the finals of the Austin Songwriters Group 2024 competition across 3 categories. The banger, "Cash is King" took the honors with a 3rd-place finish in the "Novelty" category, and also received an honorable mention in the "Blues" category.
"Lighting Lane to Heaven" and "Your Time to Waste" were both selected in Country and Pop Catgories as finalists.
Bryan has traveled and played music all over the world in bars, hostels and in the street. The guitar in this picture was purchased in Argentina, and is a cerca 1950 classical guitar from Casa Nunez.
